Abstract

After the voltage collapse point being found in AC/DC power systems, the relation between left eigen-vector W * and voltage collapse boundary surface ∑ is used to calculate the optimal control vector to increase load power margin. And then, some measures to increase the load power margin and avoid voltage collapse in AC/DC power systems are studied in this paper.
