Abstract
For Chinese phonetic input technique on digit keyboard, this paper puts forward the key-to-pinyin-conversion problem and then proposes effective solutions. Firstly, we give the formalized definition of key-to-pinyin-conversion problem and then manage to deduce two models according to Bayes' rule in order to solve that problem. After that, the problem is transferred to find an optimal road in a direct acyclic graph (DAG). The search spaces and algorithms are described respectively for each deduced model. Experiments results prove that key-to-pinyin conversion problem is a bottleneck for Chinese phonetic input technique on digit keyboard, and our algorithms can effectively solve the problem.
