Abstract
The temperature fields of non-slotted and slotted light steel-framed composite walls have been simulated using the finite element software of ANSYS. The thermal performances of the walls with different web-perforated types, frame types, thickness of exterior insulation layer are calculated. The thermal performance of the composite walls with web-perforated has been tested using the Combined Energy Consumption Test Board for Components of Building Envelope. The simulated results fit to the experimental results. This shows that the model of the three-dimensional heat transfer set up in the paper is right and the simulated results are believable.
