Abstract

Aiming to the special points (advantages and disadvantages) of different modes of operation, a flexible control from the viewpoint of energy feed-demand coordination is put forward. The control method has not only a simple configuration, easy for adjusting without any nonlinear links, but also a positive effect on the linearization for the nonlinear characteristics of boiler-turbine unit pressure. The benefits obtained include improved dispatch rate and tighter regulation of steam pressure, and all these achievements can be gained by adjusting one parameter, the coefficient of energy feed-demand coordination. These improvements in control can be maintained for a wide range of operating conditions.
