Study on active vibration control of weak coupling periodic antenna structure considering disorder

Abstract

The dynamics model of weak coupling periodic antenna structure was established. Based on the dynamics model, vibration properties of the structure were studied. Active vibration control of the structure considering disorder was investigated by applying linear quadratic regulator control method. The results of numerical examples show that small disorder of the structure can induce remarkable mode localization and the amplitude ratio of perfect structure to on disordered structure is about 30%. The disorder must be considered seriously while performing active vibration control on this kind of structure to avoid invalidation of vibration control system.
