Abstract

In this paper, methacrylate methyl ester (MMA), ethyl acrylate (EA), acroleic acid (AA) were used to synthesized the water-borne acrylic resin by mass-solution polymerization. Influence of AA content, mass ratio, polymerization method and reaction temperature was investigated to optimize the polymerization process. The structure and composition of resin were analyzed by FT-IR and TGA.
