Abstract
A dynamic field circuit method, which is used to solve the V type line-start permanent magnetic synchronous machine's dynamic problem is put forward. Until now, there are always three methods to analyze the line-start permanent magnetic synchronous machine's starting process: analytic method, finite difference and finite-element methods. Among the finite-element method, the methods which are often used are the quasi-dynamic field circuits combined methods and the dynamic field circuits combined methods. The later one is more accurate to simulate the dynamic process during the starting process, including the surface effects and varying parameters, such as d, q axis armature impedance and the rotor impedance.
