N2 - Ad Hoc network needs no support of a fixed base station. Nodes communicate through wireless links. Being easy to use and having flexible configuration, Ad Hoc network has aroused widespread concern. In the research field of Ad Hoc Network, there exist numerous problems to be solved. Based on the principle of wireless communication and motion rules of nodes, link state prediction algorithms use the received data signal strength to find invalid links, and then help advance its handling. This paper presents a prediction algorithm for routing maintenance based on link failure.
