Study of pressure loading principle and experiments of a new type of depth simulator

Abstract

Aiming at the principle defect of the depth simulator that it is difficult to realize the simulation of the great gradient pressure reduction at the low pressure section, a new type of depth simulation system which uses motor to drive the screw and then controls the capacity cavity of the hydraulic cylinder to control the output pressure is proposed. The pressure loading principle is by controlling the motor's rotate speed to control the volume change speed of the hydraulic cylinder and then control the gradient of simulated pressure. This new pressure loading principle can effectively solve the principle defect of the current valve control depth simulator. This paper will introduce the new principle of pressure loading, the structure scheme and the main design process of the new depth simulator. Through conducting experimental research, it turns out that the new depth simulator has a great pressure loading feature.
