Abstract

Friction moment is an important parameter of small bearing performance. In this paper, some key technics for measuring friction moment of rolling bearings are discussed, and a measurement system is set up for precision small bearing. The performance of the system shows that it can measure start-up friction moment and dynamic friction moment of the bearing precisely. And this system can be applied to the study on bearing design and performance improvement.
