Abstract

In order to analyze the three factors that affect the impact deformation of gravel particle size, impact velocity and impact angle during the process of gravel impacting the skirt board structure of EMU and to obtain the influence rule of deformation, this paper used the method of high-speed impact air gun test apparatus and nonlinear transient dynamics software LS-DYNA, to study the damage of skirt boards subjected to the impact of ballast balls with different sizes, impact velocities and angles. The results show that a different function relationship exists between the deformation degree of the skirt boards, the particle size, the impact velocity and the impact angle. The relationship between the maximum displacement, the pit depth of the impact point and the diameter of the ballast particle is of power function. The relationship between impact velocities is linear. The relationship between impact angles is secondary linear. This paper provides a certain theoretical basis for the design of the skirt board structure of the equipment cabin of EMU.
