Abstract
By comparing among several different schemes, the optimal design of Baojiazhou Han River extra-large bridge was achieved. The main beam is single-box double-cell corrugated steel web-steel truss PC composite beams. The change of box girder height and thickness of box girder floor is compatible with the second order parabolic law. The height of box girder near the support is 14.5 m and that at the mid-span is 4.5 m. The middle span of the beam uses corrugated steel web and the rest of beam uses steel truss web. The approach bridge is 4.0 m high and 26 m wide PC composite beams with steel truss web. The PC composite beams with steel truss web and the top and bottom concrete boards are connected by composite joints. The analytical results show that the bridge type has many merits such as simple form, good constructability, material saving and so on, which can make full use of the mechanical performance of wave-truss composite materials, improve the efficiency of the cross section, reduce the weight of bridge and enhance the durability of the bridge structure, etc.
