Abstract

In this paper the problem of optimal design of actuator position in the sliding wing structure is described and demonstrated. The executive mode of morphing structure is based on parallelogram structure with two degrees-freedom. With regard to the selection of actuator, the choice and control of size and number would be directly related to the weight of the vehicle. In this paper in the light of each parameter of parallelogram structure, the distribution and position of actuator in the parallelogram structure is properly optimized to obtain the feasible region of most appropriate position.
