Status and development trend of advanced drinking water treatment technologies

Abstract

The aim of the normal treatment of drinking water is to remove turbidity and bacteria, but it is not efficient to remove organism, especially to dissolve organism. It is necessary to advance the treatment of drinking water through analyzing the recent water quality status of municipal water supply in China. According to application and study actuality of advanced treatment technology, it is imperative to treat drinking water with activated carbon, ozone and membrane through dual system.
