Statistical relationship between magnitudes of mainshock and aftershock and parameters of earthquake ground motion

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Forty-nine groups of magnitudes of mainshock and aftershock are chosen and the relationships bewteen magnitudes of mainshock are obtained by statistical methods. Then, to meet the needs of seismic analysis and design, the method determining the history of mainshock and aftershock ground motion is given. The random process models of earthquake ground motion for mainshock and aftershock are established and the parameters in these models are determined. -from English summary
