Statistical modelling and analysis of relative discharge ratios in electrical discharge machining process

Abstract

Relations between relative discharge ratios and servo control variables are investigated through samples and statistical analysis of experimental data, normal distribution function is shown to be a suitable statistical model for the ratios. Furthermore, the internal relations between the parameters of model and the control variables are revealed and the variation of machining conditions for different control variables can be predicted by these relations. Theoretical results have been verified with experiments.
