Abstract
In order to study the behavior characteristics and rules, lots of samples data through questionnaires are obtained. Personal characteristics, activities time characteristics and activity properties characteristics of sample data are compared through comparative analysis method. When seasons, space types and user's age change, the choice of public space and activity type change. These reveal the outdoor activity rules and characteristics and influencing factors of the public space users in winter city. Three design rules of public space in winter city are given from perspective of the user. These rules can provide reference for high activity landscape design of winter city.
