abstract = "In this article, the event-triggered state-feedback control scheme and the event-triggered dynamic-output-feedback control scheme with discrete periodic parameters are developed to stabilize the linear discrete-time periodic system in the network environment. Special event-triggering mechanisms are employed to reduce the unnecessary data transmission between the sensor (or the controller) and the controller (or the actuator). The finite-time stability of the event-triggered discrete-time periodic system is analyzed by utilizing an Lyapunov function approach. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.",
