Abstract
The paper carried out the analysis and correlation of traditional pseudo-spectrum and improved staggered-grid pseudo-spectrum from theoretical method and cases, summarized the superiority of staggered-grid pseudo-spectrum method. The more prominent advantage of differential localization of staggered-grid pseudo-spectrum is showed by first-order differential computational case of pulse sequence; the correctness of staggered-grid pseudo-spectrum method is proved by 2-D acoustic wave computational case; the precision of the staggered-grid pseudo-spectrum method being higher than that of traditional pseudo-spectrum is proved by the computational case of elastic wave in non-homogeneous medium. Finally, the propagation issue of elastic wave in non-homogeneous fracture and cave reservoir is simulated by staggered-grid pseudo-spectrum method.
