title = "Stability and reinforcement methods of a high slope at the hang-yong natural gas pipeline in China",
abstract = "Based on the elastic-plastic finite element method and limiting equilibrium theory, this paper focuses on the high slope stability and analyses the influence by the work environment and strength of the high slope structural plane at Hang-Yong Natural Gas Pipeline in China. The numerical results reveal that this high slope is in the ultimate equilibrium state and it maybe occurs to rapidly slide when it is in heavy rainfall condition; Draining the groundwater level and infusing slurry on the weak structural plane could improve the stress condition and advance emergency capacity inside slope; and the slope safety coefficient may reach 1.61 integrating the two methods proposed. However, it must adopt other engineering method to reduce the tensile damage at after-edge of slope. All above studies are significant for supplying the basis references to reinforcement methods and monitoring the high slope in safety.",
