Abstract

Specific resistance and its change rate under compressive strength of cement paste admixing with two kinds of nano-TiO2 or carbon fiber were studied. Experimental results show that the specific resistance of cement paste can be reduced by adding nano-TiO2. Cement paste admixing with nano-TiO2 of anatase phase, which possesses characteristics of semiconductor, has the property of pressure-sensitivity. The change rate of the specific resistance is about 7%-10%. However, the cement paste admixing with nano-TiO2 of rutile phase has not the property of pressure-sensitivity. Compared with above two kinds of cement pastes, the cement paste admixing with carbon fiber has the lowest specific resistance and best pressure-sensitivity, and change rate in specific resistance is about 17%-35%.
