Space/time equalization technique for smart antennas with RLS algorithm

Abstract

A kind of space/time transmission model is set up. After analyzing the recursive least square (RLS) and least mean square (LMS) algorithms, a joint space/time equalizer is presented which is composed of smart antennas and temporal equalizer based on RLS, and adopts rear feedback filter. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme efficiently improves the system anti-interference ability in multi-path fading channel, and gains the practice feasibility and simple algorithm complexity.
