Abstract

The AC small-signal modeling and analysis of the active-switched-capacitor/inductor quasi Z-Source converter (ASC-qZSC) in continuous conduction mode (CCM) with the state-space average method is presented in this paper. The control-to-capacitor voltage, input-to-capacitor voltage, control-to-inductor current and input-to-inductor current transfer functions are derived. The right-hand-plane (RHP) zero in control-to-capacitor voltage transfer function and the frequency characteristics of input and output impedances are analyzed. Finally, small-signal models were experimentally validated.
