Abstract

Control system architecture will help eliminate or reduce non-linear behavior of flight motion simulator axes motions. This elimination and reduction will help improve dynamic transparency in HWIL simulations. The control strategy proposed in this paper combines the sliding mode control and the angular acceleration feedback to suppress the influence of payload variation, nonlinear friction and external disturbance torque. The test results indicate this approach significantly improves the simulator performance and presents an effective routine to produce the high fidelity flight motion simulator.
