Abstract
Singular problems arise in solving one-dimensional transonic flow of dual-mode scramjet, and the existing solution method has the problems of large numerical errors in principles. This paper analyzes the numerical stability and error characteristics, and results show that singular initial value error is the dominating problem of the existing solution method. Improved arithmetic is needed to solve the problem.
