Abstract

In this work, the spectral distribution of argon-helium mixture arc was acquired by using an advanced spectral analysis system. The HeI 667.8nm line was decided to obtain single-spectral image of helium based on the spectral distribution. A narrow-band pass filter was used in front of CCD. The single-spectral image of helium was processed by Abel inversion. Thus, The spatial distribution of the plasma emission coefficient was reconstructed. The conclusion could be drawn that helium is centralized in the argon-helium mixture arc.
