Abstract

We demonstrate single nanoparticle detection using a silicon nitride two-dimensional coupled-resonator optical-waveguide with light-scattering pattern recognition. Our proof-of-concept experiments show a detection of single 120nm-radius polystyrene particle using a 2 × 2 coupled microring array.
