Abstract

Based on the nonlinear dynamics theory, the model of high-speed rotor-bearing system with rub-impact was studied. The vibration characteristics of rotor-bearing system rubbing with journal bearing supports were educed. The effect of eccentricity parameter on system vibration characteristics was studied. The system response was gained by using numerical integral method based on the dynamics model of rotor-bearing system with rubbing fault. The changing rules for system responses along with the rotating speed and eccentric distance were studied by use of response curve, bifurcation curve and waterfall figure. The study is helpful for diagnosing effectively the rub-impact fault between rotor and journal bearing supports, reducing occurrence rate of fault and improving dynamics characteristics of rotor systems.
