Abstract
A simulative software for the process of fiber wound reinforced plastics was introduced to improve the efficiency and optimize the process. The software was produced by researching the law of fiber wound reinforced plastics. There are two main modules in this simulative software: the winding design module and the simulate module. In the simulate module, the software includes the description of the mandrel, the fiber-touched point, the suspend-fiber, the kinematics track and the law of delivery point using geometry and color instruments, and then form dynamics screen. So, it can reflect fiber-touching, arrange of fiber, suspend-fiber, kinematics of mandrel and delivery point, and the variety of line type during winding process intuitionally. And show the entire procedure of filament wound molding. This software is useful for understanding the process of fiber wound reinforced plastics.
