Abstract

In the course of metal jet vaporization theory analysis, so called electric exploded conductor denotes that inputting current to the conductor makes it phase transformation from solid to liquid to gas to plasma in extremely short time with many physical phenomenon such as light, impact wave, electromagnetic radiation and sharp increase of resistance. Especially, resistance increase takes place at the stage of vaporization beginning. During this period, high-pressure vaporizing column which prevent free electrons from moving towards electric field direction is formed, and the current is cut off with higher resistance appearing. Such effect result in the penetrating jet loses its destroying ability. After establishing power expression of vaporized metal jet, we can obtain internal relation of parameters by known conditions. Resistance and current expressions during the exploded course are also solved so that researchers may develop perfect exploded theory in the near future. The authors make some mathematical and experimental procedure to get solution of changing current and resistance of PEMA.
