N2 - This paper presents an imaging detection simulation analysis method based on the polarization characteristics of target millimeter-wave (mm-wave) brightness temperature. The method employs theoretical modeling and simulation of the brightness temperature of typical aerial and terrestrial targets, and has been experimented by using the passive mm-wave polar-ization imaging system based on the scale principle. According to the simulation and experiment results, the imaging detection method based on the mm-wave polarization characteristics of the target can effectively detect the metal target.
