Abstract
A simple and direct method of on-line tracking Thevenin parameters is put forward. Analytical expression formulas of Thevenin parameters which needn't iterative computation are derived. On the base of the formulas, Thevenin parameters can be calculated directly by using the data of running point and its neighboring point obtained from different information sources (state estimation or local measurement). This method possesses the following advantages such as simple and direct, highspeed, exact computation result. The works can be applied to on-line tracking the dynamic changing of power grid.
