Abstract
A shaking table test was carried out for RC structures and concrete filled steel tube (CFST) structures with flexible first story of energy dissipation - isolation. The aseismic stability between CFST and RC structures was compared. The two kinds of structural system energy dissipation distribution and accumulated damage analysis were also included in this paper. The testing results showed that most input energy of earthquake was absorbed by the flexible first story of CFST structures, which prevented the seismic damage of the upper structure.
