Abstract

In the light of features of dimensional thermal stability (DTS) measurement of large size structures or components, the paper present a new method for measuring the DTS of structures, which method is based on the principle of synchronous temperature control (STC). Several key techniques are studied carefully, which include: the temperature sampling and data processing of structures, the vacuum shielding of interference optical path, the error compensation of measurement chain, etc. Through measuring the DTS of a large size structure, these key techniques are expounded. Combined with experiment, the accuracy of the method is analyzed. The result shows that the research is suitable for the high accuracy measurement of DTS of large size structure of several meters to tens of meters.
