Abstract
Greater visibility into business processes is an unexpected and often overlooked benefit of service oriented architecture (SOA). In order to survive in a very competitive market, the enterprises must focus on creating value for customers and adopt business-process orientation to reorganize their business processes into adaptable corporate structures. The essential pre-requisite for optimizing business processes is an integrated information system. Thus the companies need integration to reengineer whole processes to improve their effectiveness. In this work, we focus on designing and extending to a Service Event-Driven Process Chain (S-EPC) for a modeled business process even-driven process chain (EPC) methodology shift from a supply chain management (SCM) system of a typical enterprise.
