Abstract

To enhance the output voltage quality of the rectifier-side in position sensorless power generation systems, this paper proposes a current feed-forward compensated permanent magnet synchronous generator(PMSG)sensorless voltage control scheme based on a load current observer. The control architecture integrates a full-order sliding mode observer (FOSMO) for accurate rotor position estimation without phase delay - eliminating the need for low-pass filters - along with a load current observer that provides sensorless current estimation and feed-forward compensation to suppress voltage fluctuations caused by load transients. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves robust dynamic performance and high observation accuracy under load changes, significantly improving voltage regulation compared to conventional approaches.
