Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new protection method for 2-D cartoon images Based on Scalable Shape Context and selective encryption. Firstly, we use the Scalable Shape Context to localize the character in the image, and then an encryption scheme Based on quantum chaotic system is used to encrypt the area of the object. While publishing to the customer, unauthenticated customers can only browse the image with the character encrypted, and the authenticated user only can decrypt the object and browse the whole media data. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
