Abstract

The synthesis of single-phased ferroelectromagnets BiFeO3 with high resistivity by using a rapid liquid phase sintering technique was discussed. The saturated ferroelectric hysteresis loops at room temperature in the ceramics sintered at 880°C for 450 s were observed. The samples of BiFeO3 were prepared by using the solid state reaction method. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of BiFeO3 samples calcined for 450 s at 750, 800, 820 and 880°C, respectively were also presented.
