Abstract

This paper investigates robust passive filtering for a class of uncertain Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with state delay. The parametric uncertainty is assumed to be norm bounded. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a sufficient condition on the existence of robust passive delay-dependent filters is derived. With the help of linear matrix inequality (LMI) method, robust passive delay-dependent filters are designed such that for all admissible uncertainties and time delays, the resulting filtering error system is robust stable and satisfies the proposed passive performance. A numerical example demonstrates the effect of the proposed design approach.
