Abstract

The robust H guaranteed cost controllers are presented for a biased momentum satellite in the presence of external disturbances and uncertainties of moment of inertia. For the systematic design procedure, Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) is used to get the parameters of the controller. Then, the independent modal space method is applied to formulate the active control law for reducing the flexible vibration. Finally, the effectiveness is validated via numerical simulations and the performance of attitude control system is improving.
