Abstract

The problem of robust filtering is studied for networked control systems with limited bandwidth and polytypic uncertainties. Through introducing two slack matrices for separation between the systems matrices and the Lyapunov matrices, a new H∞ performance criterion with a less conservativeness is obtained, which is used to design a robust H∞ filter. By applying the filter on polytypic uncertain system, the vertex-dependent Lyapunov functions can be adopted to deliver a less conservative result. A numerical example is employed to illustrate the effect of the proposed approach.
