Abstract

A robust H fault detection filter based on state estimate approach is proposed for uncertain network control systems with network induced delay and norm-bounded unknown input. Based on Lyapunov theory and Linear Matrix Inequality(LMI) technology, a H criterion for system to be asymptotically stable is obtained. Then a robust H fault detection filter is derived directly from the criterion. The fault detection filter guarantees not only the quadratic stability of the closed-loop systems but also the H norm bound to be within a predefined level. A numerical case study demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed approach.
