Abstract

As the problem of asphalt concrete bridge deck pavement is becoming more and more serious, how to improve its road performance has become the focus of the study. Considering fiber is widely used in road engineering, wheel tracking test, flexural test, immersion marshall test and freeze-thaw splitting test were carried out to study road performance of asphalt mixture with different fiber contents, analyzing the function mechanism of fiber reinforced asphalt concrete. The test results show that polyester fiber can improve high-temperature stability, low-temperature crack resistance property and water stability of asphalt concrete and road performance improves with the fiber content increasing in a certain range.
