Abstract

This paper addresses a TBD (track-before-detect) algorithm to detect moving targets based on the ARD (Azimuth- Range-Doppler) in the low SNR environment. This algorithm incorporates data preprocess in which the ARD data cells are processed with a low threshold CFAR(constant false alarm rate) filter to reduce number of cells using in the following dynamic programming and a lower time cost is achieved without detection loss. Besides detection comparison with another dynamic programming algorithm accumulated with state likelihood probability and Hough transform is carried out and the results reveals that the proposed dynamic programming algorithm outperforms the other two both in detection and speed.
