Abstract

The nondestructive technologies used for the inspection of interior flaws of composite pressure vessel are summerized in this paper, such as ultrasonic, acoustic emission, acoustic ultrasonic, eddy current, computed tomography, infrared thermography and digital speckle method. The principle, characters, application field of the above mentioned inspection methods and their inspection characteristics when they are used for the inspection of composite pressure vessel are reviewed. In addition, further development of researches on nondestructive inspection of composite pressure vessels is discussed.
