Abstract
To restrain inter chip interference (ICI) for high-speed I-UWB systems working in the dense multipath indoor circumstance, the estimated formula of ICI for I-UWB was derived. Then the impact of the pulse repetition period, time-hopping slot time and pulse waveform on ICI was studied. The mathematical and simulated results show that only pulse repetition period and pulse affect ICI. And an optimal waveform scheme constructed by combination of Gauss pulses was promoted. The simulated result shows that this optimal waveform can effectively restrain ICI.
