Abstract

In order to support the analysis and optimization of the enterprise process automation in a wide scope, an activity-based resource capability modeling method was introduced. This method can abstract the resource capability template from the activities of enterprise processes. In resource modeling phase, the resource capability class could be selected from the pool of capability template. In resource model instantiation phase, the capability is instantiated. It produces the process-supporting resource by coupling the capability requirement of an activity with the capability of the resources. The method unifies the resource capability modeling of a whole enterprise, and it supports automatically-producing supporting resources of a large-scale enterprise process.
