Abstract

The urban original wastewater's flowing characteristic is a key problem when using it as cool and heat source. Based on the non-Newtonian stress formula, the relationship between the velocity distribution and resistance coefficient are obtained. The characteristic viscosity and the characteristic Reynolds number, general characteristic Reynolds is defined. The critical Reynolds number in laminar and turbulent flow is analyzed. The critical general characteristic Reynolds number is 215. The resistance coefficient curve from general characteristic Reynolds number accords with the experiment one, which shows the theory result matches with the experiment, about 400% of the clean water.
