Research on the Reliability of Winding Insulation for Short-Term High Overload Motors

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This paper analyzes and evaluates the reliability of the winding insulation based on the characteristics of short-term high overload motors under different overload conditions. Firstly, different current densities are input to the prototype of the stator, and voltage and temperature are used as failure indicators for winding insulation to obtain failure data. Then the Weibull distribution is used to fit the winding insulation failure data, and the influence of different current densities on the insulation reliability of the motor winding is revealed.
