Abstract

The steady operation of the internal optical parametric oscillator and the internal parametric amplifier was realized in the cavity of a repetition rate Q-switched YAG laser. The main results are as follows: the threshold of IOPO is smaller than 20 mJ; the maximum output energy reaches 35.9 mJ; the corresponding conversion efficiency is 45%; and the peak output wavelength is 1570 nm. This solid-state instrument is compact in volume and easy to be miniaturized.
